Mission Statement

The Rocky Mountain Society of Botanical Artists is an open and diverse group of artists, collectors and admirers who share a love for the practice and perpetuation of botanical art and illustration with a fond focus on plants in the Rocky Mountain Region.
We encourage and participate in educational outreach, juried and non-juried exhibits, lectures, workshops and regular chapter meetings. The RMSBA is proud to be the very first chapter affiliation of the international organization, the American Society of Botanical Artists.

$600 in prizes
Tasty food and drink

Our Holiday Party is back and we have $600 in prizes. After a year of cancellations and other disruptions, we are looking forward to resuming our annual get-together of our favorite artist friends. Last year's party was cancelled, so we want to make this year a special party with tasty food, wine and cocktails, and prize$.

At this the meeting we have elections for Board of Director positions. Thank you to those who have contacted us. If you haven't heard back from us, you will soon. We still are seeking volunteers, so let us know how you can help.

The Party will start at 1:00 p.m. We will have our meeting and prize drawings at 2:00 p.m. The Grand Prize will be $300 to be used toward an art class or workshop of your choice. There will be $300 more in $50 gift certificates to art supply stores. If you cannot make the meeting, but still want to enter the drawings, send an email to: caroltill@mindspring.com with the subject line: "Drawing".

To help us plan for food and drink, RSVP to the same address, with "RSVP" in the subject line. Also, feel free to bring your finished and in-progress artwork to the meeting to share what you are doing. We look forward to seeing you and making plans for the new year!
