Mission Statement

The Rocky Mountain Society of Botanical Artists is an open and diverse group of artists, collectors and admirers who share a love for the practice and perpetuation of botanical art and illustration with a fond focus on plants in the Rocky Mountain Region.
We encourage and participate in educational outreach, juried and non-juried exhibits, lectures, workshops and regular chapter meetings. The RMSBA is proud to be the very first chapter affiliation of the international organization, the American Society of Botanical Artists.

Pool’s open!

Remembering those who lost their lives in defense of their nations

Open Studio Tuesday, June 14, 9am - 12n at Valkarie Gallery, 445 S Saulsbury, Lakewood.

 Summer BBBQ (backyard Bar-Be-Que) will be at Vanessa Martin’s house on Sunday, June 26. Mark your calendars now and start dreaming up scrumptious side dishes and whatnot. Copious details will follow in a few days. Bring your spouse, bring a prospective member, bring fun!

RARE II is dark during June, and will open in Salida on July 9. Plan a little trip.
